The IHM is an institute which provides MSC, BSC and diploma courses in hotel management, category and nutrition. All those candidates who want to carry their career in hotel management and catering will take part in the joint entrance exam of this institute which is organized by the institute for admission in these various types of courses of BSC. To conduct this entrance exam the NTA has the authority. The application process for this entrance exam was started by the NTA from 09/02/2024 and was closed on 31/03/2024. The CBT mode examination was organized by the NTA. On 11/05/2024 the board had conducted the examination. The counseling process for choice filling from the institute is open until 14/06/2024. The 1st list of allotment of the result of this JEE exam will be announced by the nTA on 16/06/2024. IHM Shimla BSC (H & HA) Admission 2024

BSC is a three year degree of hospitality and hotel administration. The admission in this course will be completed through the NCHM JEE exam which is organized by the NTA. All those students can take the admission of this NCHM JEE exam to get admission in BSC (H & HA) who had a passed marksheet of class 12th. BSC (H & HA) is a national level exam in which an admission application is invited by the institute every year in the month of December & January every year. On the basis of the perforation in this written exam the selection of the candidate for bsc course will be made by the institute. The allotment of the institute will be made on the abscess of the merit.  

Minimum Qualification: 

  • A passed marksheet of class 12th or equivalent qualification from the secondary board of education with having english as one of the compulsory subject. All those students can also apply for this JEE exam to get admission in this BSC course who are appearing in the class 12th  or equivalent examination. 

Age Limit 

  • The student age should be 22 years to get admission in BSC. age relaxation will be provided for upto the 25 years for the SC & ST category students.

MSC H.A is a two year course which is organized by the IGNOU and NCHMCT jointly. All those students who have a bachelor’s degree in BSC H & HN will be eligible to get admission in this masters course. IHM Shimla Diploma FP Admission 2024

This diploma FP course will help the student to create a profitable and exciting career in the food production sector (Cookery). The talented and trained trainee is assured to get place,enmet in various five star hotels, fast food outlets , restaurants, large hospitals and industrial canteens. The duration of this diploma course is one and a half years. To get admission in this diploma course students need to have a passed marksheet of class 12th or equivalent from a higher secondary board with English as a compulsory subject. 

Duration of the Course:

  • One and half year course in which one year is for institute and 6 months is for industrial training in an allotted sector or hotel. 

Educational Qualification:

The Diploma F & BS is a course in which the students will be prepaid for the entry ;evel recruitment as skilled workforce for beverage and food operations in hospitals, large hotels, industrial canteen,. This course will also provide you the opportunity of placement in airline cabin crew, catering officers and cruise lines in multinational companies to all the higher talented students.   •  passed marksheet of class 12th or equivalent from a higher secondary board with english as a compulsory subject. Candidates will not be eligible to get admission in this course who passed the Compartment exam.
